A country is not only formed by its landscapes, monuments or architectural wonders, it are the people who really give a face to a country.
India is one of the world’s oldest civilisations and the birthplace of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. The people in India are as diverse as those religions.
During my travel through India, from North to South, I met so many people, encountered so many characteristic and beautiful faces that I was able to photograph.
As a tribute to my beloved India, I have reworked the best portraits I shot during my 9 journeys over the last 15 years in India and created a slideshow of it.
